掌握稿件差错的规律检查和审阅稿件,发现和消除一二个差错,是不难的。难的是要掌握发生和消除差错的规律性的东西。任何事物的发展和变化都是有内在规律可循的。对于报纸编辑来说,发现差错、减少差错和消除差错也是有规律可循的。重要的是我们对各种差错现象要善于进行分析研究,分析其产生的背景(条件)和原因,研究其防治办法,从感性认识上升为理性认识,这样才能认识它,进而自觉地掌握它、运用它,把见报差错减少到最低的程度。根据我的实践和同志们的经验教训,在如何发现差错、消除差错方面,我理出了12条带有规律性的东西。第一,从细细推敲字句中来发现毛病。以《要有良好的家教》为题的一篇来稿写道:“良好的家教,并非像《红楼梦》中贾政对宝玉大打出手便能‘望子成材’,也不是贾母那样对宝玉百般宠爱便可‘望子成龙’的。”我边看边推敲,便觉得奇了:贾宝玉是贾政的儿子,贾政用“望子成材”倒也可以,作为贾母的孙子,贾母怎能用“望子成龙”这个词呢?刊登出去,岂不成为世人的
It is not difficult to grasp the law of manuscript errors and to inspect and review manuscripts to find and eliminate one or two mistakes. The trick is to grasp the regularities that occur and eliminate mistakes. The development of any thing and change are inherent laws follow. For newspaper editors, finding mistakes, reducing mistakes and eliminating mistakes are also rules. What is important is that we should be good at analyzing and studying various kinds of errors, analyze the background (conditions) and causes they originate, study their methods of prevention and treatment, and raise them from perceptual knowledge to rational understanding so that they can understand it and then grasp it consciously. Use it to reduce the error to the lowest level. Based on my practice and my comrades’ experiences and lessons, I came up with 12 rules with regard to how to detect mistakes and eliminate mistakes.
