胶结充填采矿是金川二矿区目前唯一的根本的采矿方法。充填细砂料浆是靠自流输送。管道自流输送技术是70年代由国外引进的。二矿区的管道自流输送曾获国家科技进步一等奖。金川矿区的充填设施、料浆制备的自动化程度、充填规模和充填技术等方面都处于国内领先水平。1983年投产以来,累计出矿量999.4万t,充填量达321万m~3。1987年出矿量突破百万t大关后,每年仍以十几万t的速度递增,出矿量居高不下,一个重要的原因是狠抓充填系统的完善和充填技术,做到采充平衡,使矿山生产处于主动的地位。
