To give full play to the enthusiasm of employees, we must first solve the problem of how to evaluate the extent of the enthusiasm of employees. In the past, we often measured the enthusiasm of employees with indicators such as attendance rate, utilization rate, and labor productivity. Can these indicators fully reflect the degree of exertion of employees’ enthusiasm? The author recently conducted a survey of a large number of people in one of the nation’s leading enterprises. In recent years, the factory’s attendance rate is about 95%. The utilization rate of working hours is about 85%, and the labor productivity of all employees has continued to increase.
