自改革开放,86年开始现代陶艺运动以来,陶瓷艺术通过激进艺术家们的不断革命,使陶瓷这门古老艺术的语言样式重新定位,当然在中国珠山八友存在的这100多年里,珠山八友做出了一种新的陶瓷绘画语言意识的变革!但还是没有理论上的定义,这种理论定应是86年以后的现代陶艺的兴起,指陶瓷从历史上的工艺美术向艺术的转型,这就是我们在审视陶瓷的过程中,意识语言的一种样式。而工艺美术和艺术概念的不同,是指工艺美术可以丧失它的个性,但艺术必须要有一种鲜明的艺术家个人的特色!这就是他们之间本质上的一种区别。在发展了30年以来,我们通过广泛的实践,经历了很多运动,当下应面对的是在新的一个时期里我们如何来审视陶瓷艺术发展,以及在新一轮过程中有哪些重大特点。我认为当下面临的四大转型:

What we should face now is how we examine the development of ceramic art in the new period and what are the key features in the new round of development. I think the four transformations facing the moment:
