根据当前国内玉米生产中大面积种植的是以正常细胞质自交系配制的杂交种为主,和各研究单位又正在不断地加速研究和发展雄性不育细胞质利用的情况,三年来我们用来自国内16个省,市、自治区的181个小斑病菌的菌株,在77个包括 T.C.S.型细胞质雄性不育系和正常细胞质自交系中,初步选出了包括有 T.C.S.N(正常)四种类型细胞质的8个自交系(T 单412—2,Tcl03,Cva35,C 二南二四,Ms344,Ms05,辽马43,二南二四),建议作为我国玉米小斑病菌生理小种试用的鉴别寄主。应用这一套寄主,按不同菌株在寄主上的反应,用产生的坏死型病斑,萎蔫型病斑的级别数量和病斑的长度来衡量抗、感表现,可以区分为16个生理小种,并建议定名为“中华人民共和国小种”,在小种代号前冠以简写的“中”字样。目前用这套寄主测试来自国内不同地区的98个菌株的结果,已出现12个生理小种。
