朱偰先生是留学欧洲取得博士学位的经济学家,却由于拳拳的爱国之心,迷上了北京、南京“两京”的宫苑城垣研究,硕果累累,泽惠后人。可惜的是,为保护古城面貌,他敢于出头反对拆毁古城垣,终被打成“右派”,更招致不公平待遇,在“文革”中被迫害致死……十年动乱后,他的冤案自然得到昭雪,而他的事迹也应为世人广泛地宣传。
