景德镇市中国人民银行构建金融区域网之前,主要通过卫星小站与总行通讯、通过公用电话网与上级行和县支行以及辖内各商业银行相连,极大地阻碍了本地区的资金周转和信息传输,因此构建金融区域网非常必要和紧迫。在设计网络方案时,景德镇市人行针对本地区的现状,结合当前先进的网络技术和网络设备,建成以市入行为中心、邮电部门公用数据网为基础的连接入行各县支行以及辖内各商业银行和有关金融机构的金融区域网。
