这一次在巢县司集乡所举行的全国社会主义歌唱运动现场会议,对所有的项目音乐工作者都是深刻的启发与教育。过去在旧社会里会经受尽压迫,灾难深重的司集乡的劳动人民,今天在共产党的光辉照耀下,不但由于生产大发展在经济生活方面起了根本的变化,人们的精神面貌也起了根本的变化,一跃而成为文化卫星乡。漫山遍野扬溢着豪迈而爽朗的歌声,歌唱社会主义美好的生活,歌唱干劲冲天的生产大跃进。差不多人人是歌手,个个是诗人,诗画满墙头,歌声遍山野,这是所有参加会议的同志们所共同感到的对司集乡的深刻而美好的印象。这里也证明了劳动人民一旦掌握了自己的命运,解放了思想,不但在生产上创造奇迹,在文化生活方面也必然地放出灿烂
