On the eve of the 40th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the commendation ceremony of the nation’s advanced grass-roots party organizations and outstanding party workers was held in the capital city of Beijing. This is an important step toward implementing the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 13th CPC Central Committee. The convening of this meeting is of great realistic significance for vigorously strengthening the party’s ideological building, work style building, organizational building and giving full play to the core leadership role of grass-roots party organizations in all fronts under the new situation of reform and opening up. Of the appeal, cohesion and combat effectiveness, to lead hundreds of millions of people to build socialism with Chinese characteristics, will have a profound impact.
