官廳水庫是解放后在多沙河道上建成的第一座大型水庫孀盼覈鴩窠浖玫陌l展將在更多类似的河道上兴建大型水利樞紐以控制水流。由于水庫的淤積和泥沙在水庫中运行情况对水庫的管理运用和規划設計有極重大的意义,因此在官廳水庫建成后卽組織了泥沙測驗工作。本报告介紹了水庫的基本情况,叙述了自1953—1955年的泥沙测驗主要成果,其中并包括了一部分1956年的资料,对淤積量、淤積分布以及不同的运用条件对淤積量的影响作了簡略的說明。四年中曾多次發現异重流通过水庫,对水庫的淤積分布有很大的影响,尤其是对减少水庫的淤積能起顯著的作用,因此,本报告較为詳尽地闡述了实測的异重流的一些情况。水庫泥沙問題是一項迫切需要解决的問題,特別是对于在多沙細沙的河道上兴建的水庫,因此开展水庫泥沙測驗工作以了解現象,發現問題將有助于这一問題的解决,对于卽將兴建的黄河三門峡水利樞紐更具有重大的意义。
