结构设计的任务是在满足强度、刚度以及(禾文)定性的前题下,寻找一个材料最省或者费用最少的结构方案。但是,在电子计算机出现以前,这是难于精确办到的。由于设计问题涉及的因素和包含的变量太多,很难用手算的方法给予解决。其次,也缺少一种科学的、系统的设计方法。 迄今为止,多数的结构设计仍然是首先凭借直觉或者经验提出一个方案,然后通过力学分析对它进行校核,根据校核的结果进行修改,如此重复二、三次,直至找到满意的结构方案为止。
The task of structural design is to find a structural scheme with the least material or cost, under the premise of satisfying the strength, stiffness, and qualitative characteristics.
