小秦岭金矿田地处豫陕两省交界地带,已发现含金石英脉1100余条,探明金矿储量巨大。为我国重要脉金产地之一,具有一定的成矿远景。一、矿田地质概况区内广泛出露的太古界太华群地层,自下而上分为:蒲峪组、焕池峪组、闾家峪组、观音堂组和抢马峪组等五组。它是一套中—深变质岩系。主要由黑云斜长片麻岩、斜长角闪片麻岩、各类混合岩夹大理岩、石英岩组成,变质相以角闪岩相为主,局部具麻粒岩相。原岩为中—基性火山喷发岩碎屑岩及碳酸盐岩沉积建造。矿田构造受秦岭纬向构造体系所制约,又受太行山新华夏系和祁吕贺山字型前弧东
