光定向耦合器是评价中继器干涉噪声插入,监控传输信号水平,取出参考信号的最重要的器件之一。本文介绍一种适于广泛使用的带活动连接插座的三端口棱镜式光定向耦合器的设计原理,主要加工工艺、性能测试结果和应用举例。本器件于1983年11月在国内首先通过鉴定。经过二年半的存贮试验,性能十分稳定,包括插头在内的插入损耗≤2 dB,隔离度≥25 dB,插损重复性变化≤0.17 dB,在国内仍处领先地位。
Optical directional couplers are one of the most important devices for evaluating repeater interference noise insertion, monitoring the level of transmitted signals and removing reference signals. This paper presents a design principle, main processing technology, performance test results and application examples of a three-port prismatic optical directional coupler with a wide range of active connections. The device in November 1983 in the country passed the first identification. After two and a half years of storage test, the performance is very stable, including plug insertion loss ≤ 2 dB, isolation ≥ 25 dB, insertion loss variation ≤ 0.17 dB, is still a leading position in the country.
