举世瞩目的2008北京奥运会及北京残奥会正向我们走来。对残疾人来说,奥林匹克运动不仅是健身强体的体育活动,也是顽强拼搏、超越残障、发掘潜能的意志磨练,更是融入社会、促进平等参与、构建和谐社会的平台。多年来,我国广大特殊教育学校积极开展体育活动,努力促进学生身体康复,补偿生理缺陷,培育健康心理,并且培养了一大批优秀的残疾人运动员,在国际国内的各项残疾人体育比赛中,取得了优异成绩。在迎接北京奥运会、残奥会之际,本刊特约了部分特校校长、教师,介绍他们在开展残疾学生体育运动方面的成绩与经验,希望通过奥运会和残奥会,进一步推动特殊教育学校的体育活动,让所有的残疾学生都能在奥林匹克运动中,超越自我,融入社会,共享人类文明成果。
The 2008 Beijing Olympic Games and the Beijing Paralympic Games that attract worldwide attention are coming to us. For people with disabilities, the Olympic Movement is not only a physical activity that is physically fit but also a hardworking one who perseveranceously strives to surpass handicaps and explore potentialities. It is also a platform for integrating into society, promoting equal participation and building a harmonious society. Over the years, the vast majority of special education schools in our country actively carry out sports activities, strive to promote physical rehabilitation of students, compensate for physical defects, cultivate healthy psychology, and train a large number of outstanding disabled athletes. In the international and domestic sports competitions for disabled persons, Achieved excellent results. In response to the Beijing Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games, this magazine made a special appointment to some special school principals and teachers to introduce their achievements and experiences in carrying out sports activities for students with disabilities. We hope to further promote the special education schools through the Olympic Games and the Paralympic Games Sports activities allow all students with disabilities to excel in the Olympic Movement, integrate themselves with the society and share the fruits of human civilization.
