消费者知情权是指消费者享有的知悉其购买、使用的商品或者接受的服务的真实、充分、准确、适当信息的权利。“消费者知情权”在我国消费者权利保障体系中具有举足轻重的作用。可以说离开了消费者知情权,消费者的其他权利往往会成为无源之水,而我国现行法律从各方面也给予了消费者知情权以充分的保护,消费者也只有在完全知晓其权利的情况下,才能够更好地行使和维护自己的权利。
