这里所说的短截一是冬截,即果树休眠期的短截;二是夏截,即在生长季节里,对当年萌发的新梢进行的短截。随着易成花品种,尤其一些短枝型品种的推广应用,短截不仅能增枝、扩冠,还有提早成花、及早结果的作用。本文对新国光、绿光、烟青、新红星、红富士(长富2号)这几个品种做了短截的试验调查,现报告好下: 一、在新国光(短枝型国光)上的应用 1、成龄大树据调查,掖县郭家店村9年生的新国光大树试验园,(1)背上枝留3～6cm夏截,萌发的二次枝当年成花枝率达62％。(2)外围营养枝冬截,前部发枝,后部成花,而且花芽的数量较多,翌春,在随机调查的38个短截枝中,2年生枝段上有花芽1—11个不等,平均
