筵席,古今有很多叫法,如燕饮、会饮、筵宴、酒宴等。老烟台的筵席,有很多值得说道的东西。老烟台,特指芝罘。老烟台居民向来重礼节、讲情义,民间无论逢重大节日还是婚丧嫁娶、亲友团聚或宾客往来,均视丰俭设宴款待。据民国《烟台概览》记载:“(烟台)商民皆重过节。年节及端午、中秋,铺户皆设筵席,放工一日,以作消遣。”1861年烟台开埠后,繁荣一时,“筵会之风甚盛,
