孟浩然《春晓》六种英译本的对比研究(英文)

Poetry translation is the art of recreation. Its highest standard is to achieve a perfect translation of the sound, the form and the sense at the same time. Meng Haoran’s Chunxiao is a widely known lyric poem in China. There are more than six different English versions due to the translators’ different translation methods. This paper, based on the comparison and analyses of different version’s content, form and style, hopes to be helpful for the readers’ understanding of different English versions and expects to give them some tips of what we should consider during the process of translating poetry.
