文章从佛教的角度阐释现代法律,认为法律与佛教的最高宗旨是殊途同归:首先,从终极目标来看,法治的目标是要达到文明的秩序,社会的和谐,人权的被尊重和保障。其次,法治社会必须要树立起法律的权威性和神圣性,是法治的前提。再次,佛教的自律和修行启示我们,法治社会正义的实现,个人正义是基础,要实现个人正义还是要从人心开始,从个体的自律和修养开始。第四,好的法律必须包涵佛家提倡的慈悲心。这种慈悲心要真正代表和体现公民的利益和意愿。第五,法治的精神需要培养,每一个公民都应该为法治的真正实现付出自己的一份努力,即每个人都需要大乘佛教的奉献精神。
The article expounds modern law from the perspective of Buddhism, believing that the supreme purpose of law and Buddhism is the same thing. First of all, from the ultimate goal, the goal of the rule of law is to achieve the order of civilizations, social harmony and human rights being respected and guaranteed. Second, the rule of law in society must establish the authority and sanctity of the law is the prerequisite for the rule of law. Thirdly, the self-discipline and practice of Buddhism reveal us that the realization of social justice under the rule of law, the foundation of individual justice, the realization of individual justice, or the starting of the people and the beginning of individual self-discipline and self-cultivation. Fourth, good laws must embrace the compassion that is advocated by Buddhism. Such compassion should truly represent and reflect the interests and aspirations of citizens. Fifthly, the spirit of the rule of law needs to be nurtured. Every citizen should make his own contribution to the true realization of the rule of law. That is, everyone needs the dedication of Mahayana Buddhism.
