文章简述了夏志清和李欧梵的中国现代文学研究,大致勾勒出了中国现代文学在美国学术体制里的发生、发展和成熟的过程,并指出,在美国语境中中国研究与汉学有着重大差异。文章最后提出,中国研究主要受制于美国的知识生产体制和逻辑,与欧洲和中国的知识生产逻辑没有更大关联。所以,从比较文学在美国的发展可以看出中国现代文学研究和中国研究的发展趋势。
The article briefly describes Xia Zhiqing and Li Ou-fan’s study of Chinese modern literature. It roughly sketches the process of the occurrence, development and maturity of Chinese modern literature in the American academic system. It also points out that there is a significant difference between Chinese studies and Sinology in the American context . The article concludes that Chinese research is mainly subject to the system and logic of knowledge production in the United States and has no more connection with the logic of knowledge production in Europe and China. Therefore, from the comparative literature in the United States can be seen from the development of modern Chinese literature and Chinese research trends.
