But there are thousands of people around the world trying to get as close as possible.rnAmy Donovan, the Cambridge University geographer says that some people travels to places such as Iceland for physical experience of seeing, hearing and feeling the power of the Earth and taking a selfie in this extreme setting. But they fail to realise the great danger they could face—flying rocks, toxic gas and lava flows.
