建立社会主义市场经济体制,是党在十四大确定的一项伟大战略目标。这是一场空前深刻的社会变革,它将为社会进步带来积极影响;也必然带来各种利益关系的调整,引发各种意想不到的新问题、新矛盾,需要我们认真研究和探讨。在发展社会主义市场经济条件下如何加强和改进思想政治工作,是摆在我们面前的一个亟待解决的重大课题。
Establishing a socialist market economy is a great strategic goal set by the party at the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. This is an unprecedented profound social change that will have a positive impact on social progress. It will inevitably bring about the adjustment of various interest relations and lead to various unexpected new problems and new contradictions. We need our careful study and discussion. How to strengthen and improve ideological and political work under the conditions of developing a socialist market economy is an important issue to be resolved before us.
