The draft supervision law finally surfaced. It began brewing as early as the Sixth NPC and after seven and eight sessions of the National People’s Congress, it was eventually submitted to the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress for consideration before its term ends. The law, put before the members of the NPC Standing Committee, consists of 73 chapters in 7 chapters and provides specific provisions on the contents, forms and procedures for exercising the right of supervision by NPC and its standing committees.
