党的十四届四中全会提出了培养选拔年轻干部,努力造就大批跨世纪担当重任的领导人才的战略任务。这是一项事关全局的基础性工作;是保持党兴旺发达、国家长治久安、社会不断进步的根本性大计;是把改革开放和社会主义现代化建设的伟大事业不断推向前进的关键所在。十多年来,我们通过不断地探索、总结和完善,走出了具有东锅特色的后备干部队伍建设新路子,保证了事业的健康、有序发展。
The Fourth Plenary Session of the 14th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China proposed the strategic task of training qualified cadres and striving to create a large number of leading cadres who took the heavy task of trans-century. This is a basic work related to the overall situation. It is a fundamental plan for maintaining the party’s prosperity and development, long-term national stability and social progress. It is also the key to continuously pushing forward the great cause of reform and opening up as well as the socialist modernization drive. Over the past decade or so, through constant exploration, conclusion and improvement, we have gone a long way from building a contingent of cadres with the characteristics of the East pot in building a new path to ensure the healthy and orderly development of our cause.
