城市精神作为城市建设的软实力,对于现代化城市的发展至关重要,而作为城市精神重要内容的思想政治教育功能发挥的现状不容乐观,存在着城市精神政治功能和思想教育功能不平衡,城市管理者对城市精神的思想教育功能认识不足,市民思想政治素质偏低等问题,制约了城市发展,必须充分发挥城市思想教育功能的主导性,构建城市精神思想教育功能发挥的长效机制,营造利于城市精神思想政治教育的良好氛围和环境。
