First, the problem is proposed This paper uses an elastic inertial medium as a mathematical model of soil, and regards the foundation as an absolutely rigid cylinder whose base plane radius is r_0. The base of the foundation and the sidewalls of the deep h are in contact with the media. The following simplified calculation scheme is used when determining the total reaction force of the medium to the foundation: the soil below the base serves as a half space; the soil above the base serves as a series of infinite thin layers with round holes. The relationship between the displacement and reaction force of the substrate is adopted (1964) and R.N. Arnold et al.
