新理学是研究宇宙大全的新哲学体系 ,它的思想原则和方法也应用于文艺。文艺作品作为种类属于“实际”的经验事物 ,新理学的理属于“真际”的“本然的样子”。“真际”比“实际”的空间大、抽象程度高 ,“实际”的文艺作品应以“真际”的“本然的样子”为价值取向 ,超越“止于技”到达“进于道”。“进于道”的文艺作品 ,因其形上学的内涵 ,也与哲学同样 ,虽不能增加人的积极的知识 ,但能提高人的精神境界
Neo-Confucianism is a new philosophical system for studying the universe, and its principles and methods are also applied to literature and art. Literary and artistic works are empirical things of the “actual” category. Neo-Confucianism belongs to the “real” “natural appearance.” “Real” has more space than “reality” and a high degree of abstraction. The literary and artistic work of “actuality” should take the value of “real” “natural appearance” as its value orientation and go beyond “stop at technique” ". Because of the connotation of metaphysics, philosophy and literature can not increase people’s positive knowledge, but can improve people’s spiritual realm
