The comparison of general impregnation method and vacuum impregnation method shows that the catalyst prepared by vacuum impregnation has more Ni atoms on the surface and higher catalytic activity. The on-site TPO experiments show that the carbon deposition of CO is greater than that of CH4 dissociation. Therefore, it is proposed that the carbon deposition of Ni-based catalysts mainly comes from the disproportionation of CO in the reaction gas
