一、《新民报》的浦二姐浦熙修原籍江苏省嘉定县(今属上海市),出生于1910年10月29日。父亲浦友梧在北洋政府交通部做会计科员,收入不高,仅够维持一家人的温饱。浦熙修自幼聪慧,念完小学、初中后,顺利考入北京女子师范大学附属中学读高中,但刚念完一年级,就因为经济困难辍学了。以后,她一边在小学当代课老师,一边坚持学习,终于如愿考上北平女子师范大学中国文学系,一直读到大学毕业。
