安陆市位于湖北省东北部,总人口62.96万,其中农村人口48.18万,2010年被确定为全国、省新型农村社会养老保险试点县市。该市坚持把新农保试点工作作为切实改进农村民生的重大举措来抓,取得了明显效果。截至2010年5月18日,全市应保对象36.43万人,已参保缴费33.3万人,参保率91.4%,征收社会养老保险费2988.2万元;农村60周岁以上老人国家基础养老金的发放工作全部落实到位,发放率100%。一、主要做法
