吕崇有字莲溪,大化堂主,一九五二年生于四川莲溪。自幼喜好书法,先后拜四川著名书法家蔡竹虚先生(现代著名诗人、学者、书法家谢无量弟子)和著名艺术教育家、书画家、四川美院教授黄原先生为师,打下了坚实的汉魏碑和书学理论基础。其间,遍游名山,遍访名师,从宇宙、人生、哲学的高度观照、审视书法,气质为之大变。学书四十余年来,不事浮华,潜心修炼,主攻汉魏、浸淫大篆,着力行草。形成了大气、朴拙、高古、野逸的审美取向。
