东方是在有了西方的参照点之后被发现的,而我们言说的西方也是以我们自身的视角来看待的。这样,作为人文学科重要范畴的东方和西方,作为方位词而言当然有客观所指,但是作为一种文化意义的词汇都是主观化的。本文分别从发现东方、审视西方以及全球化语境中东方的自我定位所面临的问题这样三个大的方面进行了论析和阐释。
The East was discovered after having a Western reference point, and the West we spoke of is also viewed from our own perspective. In this way, the East and the West, which are important categories of the humanities, certainly have objective meanings as locative terms, but their vocabulary as a cultural meanings is subjective. This article analyzes and expounds the three major aspects from the oriental self-localization in the process of discovering the East, examining the West and the orientations in the East.
