科学发展观是基于当今世界特别是中国的发展实际,汲取迄今人类社会关于发展的理论探索及文明成果,揭示发展的客观规律并直接指导发展的世界观和方法论。民族关系的发展是中国社会发展的重要层面,与科学发展观有内在的统一性。树立并践行科学发展观,是实现各民族经济、政治、文化、社会全面发展,构建平等、团结、互助、和谐的社会主义新型民族关系的根本保障。
The scientific concept of development is based on the reality of development in today’s world, especially in China, drawing on the theoretical and civilized achievements so far made in human society, revealing the objective laws of development and directly guiding the development of the world outlook and methodology. The development of ethnic relations is an important aspect of social development in China and is inherently integrated with the scientific concept of development. Establishing and practicing the scientific development concept is the fundamental guarantee for realizing the all-round economic, political, cultural and social development of all ethnic groups and for building a new socialist nationalism featuring equality, unity, mutual assistance and harmony.
