Professor Zhang Xushan of Tsinghua University translated Bloch’s “feudalism” recently after he translated Bloch’s “feudal society.” These two books are both classic classics about Western feudalism. The former book discussed the feudal society in a broad sense, hence the name of the feudal society. The latter book discusses the narrow feudalism, mainly about the relations between the feudal monarchs and the courts, and so on .
