魏晋是一个动乱的年代,也是中国文化史上一个绚烂的时代。魏晋名士性情乖张,个性十足,但他们拥有那一个时代的心理共性,从《世说新语》中能观照出魏晋名士们独特的内心世界:他们对世事悲观,但同时其人格思想行为又极为自信风流旷达、不滞于物、不拘礼节。他们惧怕死亡,他们远离权力中心,躲避政治祸乱,但又一直坚守着自己的理想和主张,甚至不惜以死殉道。
Wei Jin was a time of turmoil and a gorgeous era in the history of Chinese culture. The celebrities in the Wei and Jin Dynasties were full of temperament and full of personality, but they possessed the psychological commonality of that era. From the Shi Shuo Xin Yu, they can see the unique inner world of the Wei and Jin celebrities: they are pessimistic about the world, but at the same time their personal thinking and behavior.
