YOUNG artist Li Jisen was born in Tianjin in the early 1970s. Upon graduating from Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, he decided to further his education in the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, where he developed his own special technique. His work, and particularly his Flying Moths series, has proven popular among thousands of visitors to the exhibitions he’s put on each year since 1998.
