This article explores the relationship between the language environment and English-Chinese translation. The direct language environment and the indirect language environment have the effect on translation to show that the meaning of the word is flexible in translation. The article provides an overview of the definition and classification of the language environment, analyzes the relationship between the direct language environment and translation, and analyzes the relationship between the indirect language environment and translation. This article mainly focuses on the role of the cultural language environment in translation.
