一九六五年九月和十二月分别于上海和四川龙尔甲森工局对 ZS-3型索道进行了出厂和生产鉴定。ZS-3为单线多跨往复式无极绳架空集材索道,由一机部起重机械研究所建设,上海起重机械厂制造。该索道主要是为西南高山林区、海南大径木林区的集材作业或山场运输作业而设计的。其主要技术参数如下:
In September and December 1965, the ZS-3 cableway was factory-made and manufactured in Shanghai and Longarongsong, Sichuan respectively. ZS-3 is a single-wire multi-stage reciprocating infinite rope overhead timber ropeway, by a machine crane Institute of Construction, Shanghai Lifting Machinery Factory manufacturing. The cableway is mainly designed for the operations of timbering in the southwest high mountain forest area and the large diameter wood forest area in Hainan Province or the mountainous field transportation.
