选择适宜的造林季节,既可提高造林成活率,又可促进林木生长发育。什么时间造林最好呢?古农书《种树法》及《汜胜之书》都有“正月栽树为上时,二月为中时,三月为下时”的记载,浙江有:“正月青,二月黄,三月见阎王”的说法。 苗木成活的生理条件是:苗木茎叶的水分消耗量和根系吸收水分补充量之间取得平衡。所以最合适的栽树时间应是,苗木茎叶水分蒸发量最小,根系再生能力最强的时期。
