1952—1954年,陈云作为中财委主任在推进中南区“一五”计划的过程中与主管中南区财经工作的李先念进行了密切的合作,并取得了不俗的成就。首先,二人共同推进了武汉钢铁公司的决策与选址工作,为日后武汉钢铁公司成为我国第二大钢铁工业基地奠定了基础。其次,在中南区粮食统购统销的过程中二人密切合作,为粮食统购统销的科学决策、部署与顺利落实作出了重要的贡献。
From 1952 to 1954, Chen Yun, as head of the Central Finance Commission, conducted close cooperation with Li Xiannian, who was in charge of the finance and economics work in Zhongnan District, in the process of advancing the “One-Five-Plan” of Zhongnanqu and achieved remarkable achievements. First of all, the two jointly promoted the decision-making and site selection of Wuhan Iron and Steel Company, laying the foundation for Wuhan Iron and Steel Company to become the second largest iron and steel industry base in China in the future. Second, the close cooperation between the two parties in the course of purchasing and marketing of grain in Central South China made an important contribution to the scientific decision-making, deployment and smooth implementation of the unified state procurement and marketing of grain.
