作为全球最大的网络生物医学文献数据库,美国PubMed在生物医学研究领域有着不可替代的作用。生物医学领域的科研人员已经习惯于利用PubMed查找所需要的信息资源。该文简要介绍了NCBI提供的Web Service接口功能,以及如何利用该接口在将PubMed检索服务内嵌到学科服务平台中,并将PubMed服务与图书馆的文献传递服务进行了尝试性的集成。
As the world’s largest online biomedical literature database, PubMed in the United States plays an irreplaceable role in the field of biomedical research. Researchers in the field of biomedicine have become accustomed to using PubMed to find the information resources they need. This paper briefly introduces the function of Web Service interface provided by NCBI and how to use this interface to embed PubMed search service in the discipline service platform and tentatively integrate PubMed service with library document delivery service.
