Dendritic cells (DCs), the most potent and specialized antigen-presenting cells in the body, have received much attention from researchers since their discovery. Although the mechanism by which peripheral blood-derived DCs migrate to the lymph nodes by the importation of lymphatic vessels to initiate the initial immune response remains unclear, techniques such as gene targeting have shown that chemokine receptor CCR7 (CC chemokine receptor7), which migrates DCs from the periphery to lymph nodes The most important starter and modifier for the system to work. In addition, previous studies have found that CCR7 can exert a variety of functions other than chemotaxis on DCs cells. In this review, we review the current status of CCR7 function in DCs.
