Trina Solar recently announced a contract with Toyo Engineering Corporation to supply 96.2 megawatts of solar modules to Japan’s Iwatsu-megawatt photovoltaic plant. Developed by Pacifico Energy K.K., the plant is expected to become the largest solar power station in Kyushu, Japan. The Mizuho megawatt photovoltaic power station covers an area of 140 hectares and is expected to be connected to the grid in the spring of 2018.
