鉴于本市夏秋黄瓜主要是采用华北型的黄瓜。因此,通过大量引种试验华北系品系、新品种和一代杂种,从中选出协作17号黄瓜。该品种生长势强,结果率高,抗病,丰产,适于上海市郊区栽培。协作17号黄瓜,是由1983年引自河北省农科院经济作物研究所的编号为“78—35—6—5”黄瓜中选择得到的。鉴于当年试验编号为“17”号,故又称作17号黄瓜,沿用至今。经过连年改进瓜条形状选择,病圃抗枯萎病筛选和塑料棚薄膜覆盖夏季耐热筛选。1983—1984年
In view of the cucumber in summer and autumn in this city, cucumber is mainly used in North China.
