It is reported that the longest dam in the world is not built by humans but by beavers. Located on the edge of Canada's Woodburnalo National Park, this magnificent civil building is 850 meters long and can be seen from space. At present, the largest dam built by mankind is the Hoover Dam in the United States, which is 380 meters long, less than half the length of the Beaver Dam. The beaver is a fledged, plush animal that loves to build dams with wood, earth and stones, and circling a “moat” to defend his homeland. The beaver family lives in a dwelling on the dam, and the whole family keeps reinforcing and expanding the dam every day. Typically, the beaver's dam is about 460 meters in length, and a dam in Woodbine Faroese National Park, probably co-constructed by several beaver families.
