Objective To evaluate the effects of early intervention on intelligence development in children with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Methods Randomly divided into intervention group 35 cases and control group 34 cases. Two groups of children with HIE were given the same comprehensive treatment. Results (1) From the 6th month, the differences between MDI and PDI in both groups were statistically significant. Prompt intervention group than the control group prognosis. (2) The incidence of sequelae in the early intervention group was 11.4% (4/35), the recovery rate was 88.6%. The incidence of sequelae in the control group was 29.4% (10/34) and the recovery rate was 70.6%. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (χ2 = 3.45, P <0.05). Conclusion Early intervention can promote the intellectual development of children with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, reduce the incidence of sequelae and improve the prognosis.
