Jameson was the leader of late Marxism and “a single modernity” marked his involvement in the debate on modernity. Jameson persisted in judging the social-cultural characteristics of late capitalism and criticized modernity and modernism with strong ideology, saying that “the revival of modernity” is the ideological myth of late-stage capitalism.
