编者按2012年2月20日,国务院正式批复同意国家发展改革委组织编制的《西部大开发“十二五”规划》。为了配合中央这一大略方针,2013年11月23日至2014年1月9日,中国美术馆举办“20世纪美术之旅:走向西部”中国美术馆馆藏精品展。本展览以中国美术馆馆藏西部主题作品为主,以此展现20世纪不同时期艺术家走向西部这一重要艺术现象,勾画出20世纪中国艺术家表现西部的创作历程,挖掘西部艺术创作在20世纪中国艺术史中的重要意义和价值。
Editor’s note By February 20, 2012, the State Council formally approved and approved the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan for Western Development” organized by the National Development and Reform Commission. In line with the general guideline of the Central Government, from November 23, 2013 to January 9, 2014, the National Art Museum of China held the “Fine Arts Journey to the West: 20th Century” Exhibition of Fine Arts of China National Art Museum. This exhibition focuses on the theme works of the China National Art Museum in the west and presents the important artistic phenomenon that artists of different ages went west in the 20th century. It delineates the 20th century Chinese artists’ performance of western history and the excavation of western art in the 20th century The Significance and Value of History.
