我省西部地区有宜牧草原2,600多万亩,素有产量高,草质好而驰名中外,是我省发展畜牧业的重要物质基础。但由于多年来经营管理不善,毁草开荒,过牧等造成草原沙化,碱化、退化现象十分严重。为改变这种状况,促进畜牧业的发展,省决定以齐齐哈尔种畜场为试验基点,从1981年开始至1987年结束,采用现有科学技术成果,进一步摸索实现高产,优质,低成本的万亩草场丰产综合技术措施及其科学依据。
