钢桥面铺装SMA应具有较好的抵抗拉应力、竖向应变能力和抗剪切性能,为了改善SMA的性能,使其能满足钢桥面铺装对铺装材料性能的要求,该文以SMA-13为基础,将40目橡胶粉以等体积替代细集料的方法掺入沥青混合料中。对普通SMA及橡胶粉SMA进行性能试验,结果表明:橡胶粉SMA的高温稳定性能有明显提高,低温抗裂性能在一定程度得到改善,同时具有较好的抗水损坏的能力,另外,综合单轴贯入试验中粘结力c、内摩擦角φ和最大剪应力的变化,可以认为橡胶粉SMA具有较好的抗剪切性能,能够更好地满足钢桥面铺装的要求。试验结果得到级配的最佳橡胶粉掺量建议值为2.08%。
